Internship Opportunity: Winter 2015 / Spring 2016

Anarchists’ Convention Inc. is seeking self-motivated, hardworking, and detail – oriented interns to work in our Hoboken office this winter and spring.

Anarchists’ Convention is the production company of Writer/Director John Sayles and Producer Maggie Renzi. The Hoboken, NJ based company produced Sayles’ Men With Gun (1997), Sunshine State (2002), Honeydripper (2007)  Amigo (2010) and Go For Sister (2013).

The internship program is a unique opportunity to learn the various aspects of  the independent film industry. Students will be directly involved in the pre-production process of John and Maggie’s new film To Save The Man. Additional Responsibilities will include but are not limited to administrative duties that will familiarize interns with production materials, research involving the new project, social media support, errand running, reading scripts and the day-to-day activities which are necessary in running an independent film production company.

ALL INTERNS MUST BE CURRENTLY PURSUING A DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY. AS THIS IS AN UNPAID POSITION, STUDENTS MUST RECEIVE COURSE CREDIT. Students will be reimbursed for travel. This is NOT an on-set internship, students will work in an office environment. Internships are part-time.
